The Smart Hybrid Technology

The S-Cross comes with the progressive Smart Hybrid Technology that ensures smooth performance. The Smart Hybrid technology is based on a powerful combination of an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) and an advanced dual battery setup that help deliver optimal acceleration and save fuel. The belt-driven ISG facilitates the brake energy regeneration, idle stop-start, and torque assist functions in the S-Cross. In brake energy regeneration, the energy generated at the time of braking or decelerating is converted and stored in the dual battery setup, which is then used for Torque Assist (providing the engine assistance at the time of accelerating) and the idle stop-start (stopping the engine when the car is idling and silently restarting it whenever the clutch is pressed) functions.

Automatic Transmission

Another feature that adds to the hassle-free driving experience of the NEXA S-Cross is the Automatic Transmission (AT) technology. The transmission consists of a fully automated gearbox that changes gear ratios without manual intervention. Also equipped with hill assist, the Automatic Transmission technology offers a lot of ease and comfort, while ensuring good fuel efficiency as well.
